OasisPoker 5 cards

The game of Poker is played with a standard pack of 52 cards. Cards are displayed in order for verification when they are introduced to the table. The dealer then shuffles and offers the “cutting card” to players. The "cut" must be not less than five cards.

Initial Bets

Players should make a bet on an "Ante" field, within the minimum and maximum specified on the table sign.

·                     Players have the right to play up to two open boxes. If the player wishes to play more than two boxes, the additional boxes must be played blind with the with the bet being closed before the deal commences.

·                     Also players can wager on the bonus bet - the bonus is paid irrespective of the Dealer making a game, or not).

·                     After players have made initial bets, the dealer issues five cards to each box and himself face down, only exposing his last card.

·                     Having received cards, players determine their hand based on the table below and make a decision about whether to pass, buy or bet. Where Ace – King is the lowest combination and a Royal Flush is the highest.

Payments   Payment on Bonus
Ace - King 1:1   Street 50:1
One pair 1:1   Flush 75:1
Two pair 2:1   Full House 100:1
Three of a kind 3:1   Four of a kind 250:1
Street 4:1   Street Flush 500:1
Flush 5:1   Royal Flush 1500:1
Full House 7:1
Four of a kind 20:1
Street Flush 50:1
Royal Flush 100:1

  • If the player has two open boxes, a decision must be reached on the first box (to change cards, close or pass) and only then may look at the cards on the second box.

Exchange of Cards

If the player would like to improve the current hand – it is possible to exchange any amount (from 1 to 5).

1 or 5 cards can be changed for one "Ante."

2 or 4 cards for two "Ante."

3 cards for three "Ante".

The player has the opportunity to re-examine the new hand and decide whether to play or fold. The only exception to this is if five cards are changed, then the hand must be played blind.

If any cards are exchanged, the bonus bet is forfeited.

Once all players have closed their bets, the Dealer then opens.

If the dealer has a game (minimum of an Ace and King) , the players cards are opened to determine their combination. If the Dealers combination is higher than that of the player the player’s bet (ante and bet) loses and is removed with the cards.

If the combination of the Dealer is less, the Player wins and the bet is paid according to the table of payments.

If the combinations are identical then the next highest card determines the winner. In the case of all cards being of equal value, a standoff is declared. _________________________________________________
