Oasis Poker (Six Card) The aim of Six Card Oasis poker is to obtain a hand superior to the Dealer’s - the better the Player’s hand, the greater the payout. If the Dealer has less than a pair of 2’s, all ante bets are paid even money regardless of whether the Player has a better or worse hand, unless the Player wishes to buy a game for the Dealer. In Six Card Oasis Poker, the Player has the option to “buy” a card for the Dealer. The Player pays an amount equal to the ante bet. The Dealer will always discard the lowest card of the five, and draw an additional card. If the Dealer opens, the bet is paid according to the table below. If not, the cards are collected for the next hand. The ante bet is not paid if the Dealer doesn’t open. The Player places a bet in the box marked “Ante.” Players may only play one hand. The Dealer deals five cards face down to each Player and to himself, but the Dealer’s last card is face up. After looking at his hand, the Player may buy an additional card so he has six cards in his hand. The Player can then change one card if he wishes. Buying a card and changing it will cost the equivalent of one ante bet for each action. The payout table is the same as for Five Card Oasis Poker. |
