Oasis Poker

Oasis Poker (Five Card)

Aim

The aim of Oasis poker is to obtain a hand superior to the Dealer’s - the better the Player’s hand, the greater the payout.

If the Dealer has less than an ace and a king, all ante bets are paid even money regardless of whether the Player has a better or worse hand.

Rules

The Player places a bet in the box marked “Ante.” Players may only have two open hands, and any additional hands are played blind (not viewed).

The Dealer deals five cards face down to each Player and to himself. The Dealer’s last card is face up.

After looking at his first hand, the Player can discard up to five cards, paying the equivalent number of antes for each card in the following manner:

One Card                     - One Ante

Two Cards                   - Two Antes

Three Cards                 - Three Antes

Four Cards                   - Two Antes

Five cards                    - One Ante (Hand must be played without being viewed)

With the exception of changing five cards, the Player may view cards he has changed and decide if he wishes to play or not.

If the Player decides to play, an amount exactly double the ante is placed on the cards in the box behind the ante.
