Casino Hold’em Poker

Rules
(1) Each Player places a bet in a box marked ‘Ante’, and/or “AA” (optional bet). The Dealer then deals two cards face down to each Player and to himself. The Player may examine his own two cards.
(2) In addition, three ‘community’ cards are dealt face up in the middle of the table. This is called the ‘Flop’ and will eventually contain five cards.
(3) The Player then has to decide whether to continue by placing a further bet, which must be double the ante in a box marked ‘Call,’ or he can pass his hand and lose his ante and/or “AA” optional bet.
(4) If a Player chooses to continue, then two more ‘community’ cards are dealt to make a five card ‘Flop’. Each Player’s (and Dealer’s) goal is to achieve the best possible five-card stud poker hand by using a mixture of his two cards and the five card ‘Flop’.
(5) The Dealer then exposes his two cards to see which hand wins, comparing to every other individual Player’s hand.
(6) The Dealer must have a pair of 4s or better to qualify.
(7) It is possible that the Dealer’s best hand is the five card “Flop.” Should this occur, the Player can’t lose since, at the very worst, they will equal the Dealer’s hand for a push.
(8) The “AA” optional bet is made after the initial flop. If the Player has a pair of aces or better from his two cards and the first three communal cards, the Dealer will pay the optional bet at 7: 1.
If the Dealer does not qualify, then the player will win the Ante and push on the Call.
If the Dealer qualifies:
(a) Dealer beats the Player, then the Player will lose both the Ante and Call.
(b) Player beats the Dealer, then the Player will win both the Ante and Call.
(c) Player beats the Dealer, then the Call shall pay 1-1 (even money).

(8) Whether or not the Dealer qualifies, if the Player beats the Dealer then his ante will pay according to the Ante Winnings pay table below.
